Sighting description

- Drove the boat past what he thought was a large tree sticking out of the water till it

started moving and turned it’s head.

- The creature had a Giraffe - like head with small horns, headand neck was protruding about 6 feet out of the water, with large humps trailing behind.

- It swam quickly by the boat and he noted the muscles moving on the body that had a similar color to a Arbutus tree.

- Sighting lasted several minutes till it disappeared from sight.

Sighting description

- Large head and neck rose vertically and remained for

40 seconds, then sank.

- Approx 10 feet in height and blackish - green color

(sea lion tone)

- Witness described it as ugly. "Wide girth, couldn't

wrap your arms around it."

- Witness runs wildlife cruises for 9 years and is an experienced boater familiar with sea

life (large mammals).

Sighting description

- Horse - like but shorter head,

followed by three humps, each

lower than the previous, leaving

a wake in the calm water.

- The head just above the water

traveled in a straight path.

- Sighting lasted several minutes.

Location - Ardmore Point

Sighting description

- Described nearly walking into the head ( 1 foot width by 2 feet long) Eyes had cat-like iris. Head was at the top of the path to the beach.

- Witness ran then returned to see a tail dissapearing into the water. Tail had two flippers bunched up on the side.

- Moments later the animal peered up from the water a small distance away then vanished.

- Witness noticed a foul oder in the air and a trench dug into the beach where the animal entered the water. ( Later mentioned smelling a similar oder in the Vancouver reptile house.)

Sighting description

- Described as big tires popping up suddenly, everywhere.

- Approximated eight tire-like objects seen,not all at same time.

- Disappeared and reappeared to the east, estimated a 25 minute

paddle away.(swam very fast)

- Witness was a commercial fishing vetran.

- Witness describes two large animate objects

moving very fast, and moving in unison.

- Were not seals.

Sighting description/

- Saw long, thin dark grey object protruding about three feet from the water, saw a strange reptilianlike head with two eyes, about a foot in length.

- Behind in the water could see what seemed like bumps,or humps where body obviously continued below the surface.

- Got girlfriend to observe animal for several

minutes till it disappeared in the water.

- Estimated 30-60 feet or so from animal.
